Figure it out Together

Words that have changed people, words that have changed the course of action

Speaking is the most powerful tool that our creator has given us. This part of the writing, this part of extended thinking is dedicated to speaking on the power of words; words that we say to others and words that others tell us and most importantly words that we tell ourselves. Stories will be employed in this piece of writing to help us understand the power of words that changed a course of action once for all.

To begin, in the book of Genesis, God created through words; “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” Genesis 1:3

Yes, you heard it right. The bible, it seems by the way that it’s not a book but a library because it is made of many books; from one of the oldest of the books, words were portrayed as something powerful and I think Yes to that. It is not only the only idea that changed the course of actions in the bible, Jesus himself told the fishermen who have been fishing the whole night but couldn’t catch anyting and he recommended, he told them to put the fishing net on the right direction and they caught a tremendous amount of fishes that early morning. This meant something very important about words. Of course, we can argue saying but ‘he was the son of God’, we are right to say this. However, it still says something very important about words. Why not him getting the fishing net and put it there himself but he told them to do so? Keep note of this.

Another story of the power of words is the idea of motivational speeches. It is very important how some people change when they hear certain sort of ideas or information from people. Here I discuss the idea how people change after listening to something. For example, have you ever felt something after someone told you a loss of a family member, a brother, a friend? I mean how did you feel when someone announced to you the death of your mother, a death of your father, a death of a brother… there is something powerful about words because it looks like to me that they have a very direct connection to other parts of the body because when you hear such information something within your body change. And you start to act different as opposed to the way you were doing before hearing such information. It is worth noting and being carefully when saying or telling something to someone. Here I want to raise a point, imanagine the same thing happening when you are telling something to yourself? It is more powrful when it is from you to yourself. The system becomes a self running system which means there is zero loss of information or details of the message being shared. Then, it is more powerful and it has a great impact than the things you hear from others. This is probably the idea that we should always be careful of the words we say to ourselves because you can’t say something long enough and end up not being it, believing in it and so on and so on. It is powerful. My mind is flooded with ideas about the power of words may be I should stop from here, what do you think; yes, I am stopping from here the discussion about the power of words.

To conclude you can’t say something long enough before you be it, you believe it. Always take high level attention on the words you are saying to you, to others and notice the impact of your words to your and to others. Of course, feel you and listen to you how you are feeling after telling yourself something. Truth or a lie; I don’t give a damn; my point is to realise the impact of words and the power of spoken words.
